HOMEWORK VIDEOS:
Equipment On & Off (Leash On & Off) – learning to politely stay and be calm while you get them ready to leave the house – perfecting this exercise will reduce the mayhem when you get ready to go for a walk or come to school. Some dogs learn, when off-leash, that they can avoid being caught – a HUGE pain and safety issue – this exercise will also reduce those issues.
Touch & Treat: the following videos are examples of how Touch and Treat will reduce handling and grooming issues as well as prepare your dog to accommodate emergency “grabbing” without responding with fear or aggression. So many ways to use touch and treat!
What’s after puppy classes?
Your puppy has been equipped with all the basic skills they need to be successful – that being said, your family and your puppy have a long way to go with lots of things to learn along the way. Just like humans, learning never stops. People who actively enjoy helping their dogs learn new things are the happiest with their dogs in the long run.
We encourage you to continue in our program over the coming months. Your puppies are welcome to continue training on a weekly basis in a “school” style structure. How does it work?
